About Us

Michael: I have been involved with photography since 1975. After completing my studies at Penn State University, I became a professional photographer producing 35mm slide presentations for the business community. For over 15 years, I was employed by companies in Philadelphia and Boston working in a variety of capacities including film processing, copy photography, studio photography, location photography and client design consultation. Since relocating to Elkton, Maryland in 1991, I have photographed weddings, events and portraits while producing fine art prints for exhibition.

Salinda: I have a position as a High School art teacher while enrolled in a Fine Arts graduate program at the Maryland Institute and College of Art(MICA). I am a graduate of The University of the Arts in Philadelphia with a B.A. in Fine Art. I primarily concentrate on candid photography in black and white during your wedding day as well working as a photographic assistant during formal posing.

Philosophy

Our philosophy is simply to work in a friendly and flexible style that will allow us to photograph the elegant moments of your wedding day as it unfolds. We work unobtrusively with an eye for detail to capture the emotions of your day.

Wedding Tips

1. It is best to have your flowers delivered to where you are getting dressed at least an hour before you are going to leave for the ceremony. This allows some extra time in case the florist is late and some time, as well, for the photographer to pose you with your flowers.

2. Before the wedding day, be sure to inform your family members including parents, grandparents and siblings that they need to remain at the ceremony site after the wedding to be included in formal group photographs.

3. When planning the schedule of your wedding day be sure to include adequate travel time from location to location, the expected length of time for a receiving line, 35-45 minutes for the photographer to pose the formal photographs and 15 additional minutes at an outdoor location with the bridal party.
